a.k.a she's back with another attempt to find a proper creative outlet where she can express herself

Hi there, long time no speak.

It's been a while since I've blogged and written out my thoughts publicly for anyone to see, but I thought right now was the best time to get back into it (seeing as I can't do much else with restrictions still present). I enjoy writing and find it to be a nice way to let off steam and emotions I may be feeling, and why not share it with my peers? This project may very well be another fad of mine, but I figured I would take another shot at it and attempt to express myself rather than hide aspects of my life that I wouldn't normally share. I don't know, I might not even share everything on here, but it's a nice way to connect to others and express myself in another creative outlet besides my art.

what can you expect on here?

I mainly decided to reboot my blog to write whatever, whether it be personal or fun. I enjoy writing and maybe what I have to say could reach someone who feels the same. My content on here will most likely be a hodge podge of posts. This blog provides an easier way to connect to an audience more personally than on my youtube. Believe me, I think filming and editing is fun and I enjoy publishing my work, but it's difficult sometimes to film since I can't really do a lot at the moment. Anyone who knows me can say I have dreams and aspirations, but at the moment my time is occupied with working towards those dreams and ideas (and it's not that interesting to film).

While I will continue to edit and upload videos I make, I also hope to write about some of my adventures or discussions I have on my channel. With college quickly approaching, I plan to make some videos surrounding that and helping viewers along the way who may be in the same boat. While videos are super helpful, I am planning on posting on here too about it and providing resources.

Videos surrounding college are a great example to explain my plan, but really any video I make could have a blog post tied along. I find that sometimes my written out words better describe what I mean rather than the simple explaination in the video. With a blog, I can talk about more of a trip or experience than I can in my videos (simply due to the fact that I try to condense the video so it's not long and boring). So in short, I am still continuing to upload the same pointless videos I enjoy making.

what have i been up to?

Ever since the pandemic hit, I've been in a semi-consistent routine. My life at the moment mainly consists of working, painting, or other random activities. Since it's so normal and boring to watch, it's been hard to film (hence the lack of videos, but that's not new). One thing that is kind of new in my routine is the fact that I've began to work out on a more daily basis. I have been working out, but before June I was busy with finishing up the schoolyear and work, leaving not a lot of time to get in a nice workout. It's been super relieving and rewarding, so I'll be continuing to workout (and maybe make a video on what I do/who I follow??). I've also started looking into more colleges and opportunities in the future, since that's becoming a reality very soon as well.

With all of the working opportunities I've had, I've managed to save up a little bit of money that I hope to be able to spend and bring you guys along on here and youtube soon! As we slowly move towards reopening and loosening restrictions, I should then hopefully be able to go out more with friends and enjoy the summer.

final thoughts

It's been a long time since I've actually had a blog, but I hope that this one will be more enjoyable and true to myself than my last one. If this long break from nothing blogging and regular life has taught me anything, it's that I need to prioritize myself and what I love and share it in any way possible.
