in this time of confusion, one thing is clear: this holiday season will be the best part of 2020. here's a list to help make you're list fun in case you need last minute ideas!

1. Jewelry Dish

These are honestly so helpful for those who wear small jewelry or have small trinkets. They're pretty affordable if you're looking to have and give smaller gifts, so they work for almost any event. There are so many options and designs, so they're the perfect gift for your friends or loved ones! Below I have linked a minimalistic dish that would work for anyone. The best site I've found for different designs is Etsy (support small businesses!).

2. Birthmonth Flower Necklace

For all of my minimalist and nature loving friends, this is for you! You can customize your necklace to your birthmonth and have the flower encased in resin. It's a bit on the pricey side since it's custom and from a small business, but any birthmonth-related thing always seems to be enjoyed, so it's a nice addition to everyone's jewelry collection.

3. Tea Infuser

For a fun smaller gift for my tea-drinking people, getting a quirky loose leaf tea infuser is a fun mindless present. I put it on my list to add some fun to my daily life, even if it's a small smile. In a time of unease and stress (thanks covid), I've found that even the smallest things have mean the most.

4. Bed Tray

With school and work now being mostly virtual, this is the most practical gift for yourself! There is so many different colors and styles, which makes it easy to match up with your personal style, and it's such a lifesaver for those early morning zooms when you're still in bed. There's a range of prices too, so it's flexible for the wallet. The tray I linked is my favorite one I've seen, mainly because it's so adjustable and fits my hobbies and classwork. This is the perfect gift to ask for if you're virtual and just want those extra minutes (or hours) cozied in bed.

5. Chelsea Boots

In terms of clothing and shoes, this was my biggest ask on my list. I've been eyeballing these shoes for a while, and the christmas season was the best time to ask for them. They are a bit up there in terms of pricing, but these go with almost every outfit! There's tons of different brands with slight changes in design, but my favorites are the Doc Marten's sleek look. Below I have them linked, but if you're looking for a special item to ask for, these are a great idea!

6. Starlight Projector

in this time of confusion, one thing is clear: this holiday season will be the best part of 2020. here's a list to help make your list fun in case you need last minute ideas! oom. I personally love space and the stars, and I think this is a super cool decoration to anyone's room to spice it up. And as a bonus, it provides nice mood lighting for those who don't want to turn on their room light.

7. Books

I know this pertains to a certain audience (aka my fellow book nerds), but there's honestly a book for everyone and it's a great way to relax. During quarantine, I got back into reading, and it genuinely feels so nice. I've always loved reading, and I've grown quite the list of books to read and recommend. If anyone needs a book rec, I'm definitely here to offer my help! My favorite books are A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Mass (and all her other book series!!), Six of Crows, and the Cruel Prince.

Anyone who loves to pamper and care for themselves should definitely consider asking for this!

10. BaByliss Hair Straightener

To anyone who likes to style their hair- this is a must want! I've seen so many great reviews of this straightener online and through friends, so it's definitely on my wishlist. My old straightener just died and this wonder would be a great addition. It's a nice idea for anyone looking for a more practical and nice gift.

12. Disposable Camera

This gift is so easy to buy and is a great idea to keep memories through! The unique look disposable cameras have are super popular and for a good reason! When we're allowed to hang out with friends again, this is a great thing to have fun with!

13. Wall Collage Kit

This has been one of the coolest things of 2020 that I've seen so far, and this is a perfect gift for those looking to spice up their room! The Tezza Collage kits are by far the biggest sets I've seen, but I chose to find some images from my travels and on pinterest and use shutterfly to print them (it has saved me so much money and it's a more affordable option for those who want to save money/have creative freedom). Whatever method you choose, it's a great way to personalize your space (especially since we've been spending a lot of time there)!

14. Fun Heating Pads

Ladies, this is a necessity, so why not make it cute! Whether it be used for cramp relief or just to warm you up, these are the perfect tool to ask for. It's practical and a nice decoration for your room!

15. Hair Clips and Accessories

Simple yet helpful, it never hurts to ask for hair products. I've recently been trying out new styles and methods of doing my hair, and getting more supplies would be useful for me (aka someone who always loses their hair bands). They're forever useful and it makes giving friends a hairband when they need it less of a problem!

16. Platform Converse

These have recently blown up on Instagram and Pinterest and I have fallen in love with them! I love shoes, and these platformed converse can help short me gain an extra inch of height and spice up an everyday outfit! To anyone who wants to add a cute addition to your closet or just wants to be taller like me, this is a great idea! And as a plus, there's so many different designs and styles of converse in platform-style as well!

17. The Comfy Sweatshirt

With it being winter and quarantine, this is the perfect present to ask for! It is getting colder and having a blanket-sweatshirt is the best thing in a while. I recently purchased one and it is one of my most worn things and I think anyone who gets cold needs this!! It's affordable and keeps the heat in so well (believe me, I know- my house is freezing)!

18. Tree Hut Body Scrub

Since I first saw this on TikTok, I knew I needed this. I have gotten back into my love of self-care, and the magic I have seen this do online is crazy! Whenever I go to look for it, it's always sold out ( :( ), but luckily Amazon saves the day. This product is great at removing dead skin and keeping your legs soft, so it's very easily made its way onto my christmas list.

19. Kanken Backpack

These are the perfect ask for someone who loves to go out- either on adventures or to something as simple as going to a cafe to study- and needs to bring supplies. These come in various sizes, and I'm most obsessed with the mini backpack to bring along my supplies on study dates! They are super cute and match with almost any outfit and style, plus they come in 50+ colors! They're $70, so it can be quite expensive to some, but these bags are super durable and help with organization and productivity so much!

20. iPad

This is by far the most expensive thing I am trying to get (whether through the holidays or through saving up for it), but it is going to be so useful. I am going to college next year and I am trying to plan and prepare so I can be as ready as possible when it comes, and getting an iPad is just one part of the plan. Through my school-issued iPad, I've become accustomed to taking notes online and have found myself enjoying them, and I want to continue to take notes in college. There's so much you can do with one, I just find it necessary for schooling in general.
